 Bozdağ
Ski Centre is situated in Bozdağı, in Ödemiş County, Izmir
Province. It is easily accessed from Izmir by following for
Tire and Odemis until you arrive at Bozdağ. Then follow a
winding road up the mountain to the ski centre.
At an altitude of 1528-2157 m, the Bozdağ Ski Centre is
ideally suited for alpine skiing and provides 2 t-bar
teleskies which are 650m rising to 1200m and 450m rising to
900m.
The chairlift has a capacity of 1000 people per hour and
rises to 1549 m. With a Mediterranean climate, the ski
season runs from December to March in Bozdağ Ski Centre and
the average snow depth is 80 – 120 cm.
Bozdağ Ski Centre has become a very popular resort with both
holidaymakers and weekenders, due to being close to Izmir
although there is no accommodation in the centre but there
are hotels nearby.
Bozdağ Ski Center is 150 km away from Izmir Torbalı region,
130km away from Salihli region and it is possible to access
Bozdağ Ski Centre by bus or private vehicles from the city
centre.
Bozdağ Ski Centre presents an adequate atmosphere especially for Alpine Style Skiing on the north-façade of the mountain.
