Saklıkent Ski Centre situated on the northern side of Bakırlıdağ. Ski Centre is geographically part of Toros Mountains. Saklıkent Antalya ski center is newly developing area where you can reach by car as well as cable car from the sea level. That journey promises splendid view of Taurus Mountains and view of Antalya Bay.

 

Saklıkent Ski Centre is considered the closest available ski resort to the Mediterranean and literally to the Equator. There is approximately 120 day of skiing availability between Mid December and Mid April. Saklıkent Ski Centre's temperature is rarely under-5 degrees celcius during the day and during this time period the sunny day average is between 70-80 days per year which is truly satisfying due to the Mediterranean belt climate. In Saklıkent Ski Centre the average snow thickness is between 100-230cm and sometimes it reaches up to 5m at peak.

In Saklıkent Ski Centre, there are not too many option to hire ski and snowboard equipments per se. Ski School offers skiing and snowboarding lessons. 200 guest capacity Lodge Restaurant, 300 people capacity Panorama Cafeteria serve the guests and skiers during their ski activites. A 40 bed capacity motel and the friendly staff would be pleased to serve you.

 

Furthermore, Saklıkent Ski Centre offers a new hotel consisting of 240 beds in total, an indoor swimming pool, Turkish baths, sauna, wellness centre, disco and 200 people capacity meeting hall. In Saklıkent Ski Centre, Tübitak Observatory situated on the top of Bakırlıdağ where almost zero pollution is seen, is only 150m away from Panorama Cafeteria. There is Russian telescope present some shows attracts the astronomy and space fans during the summer as well. The nature of Saklıkent is also ideal for nature sports such as walking, hill cycling, horse-riding, hunting, football, trekking, trailing and the mountain shelters for sweltering people of Antalya during hot weather in the summer.

Founded on the forest border Saklıkent Ski Centre has got tracks which give joyous ski opportunities to people who are newly beginning to ski or snowboard or for the professionals.

 

In Saklıkent Ski Centre there is one 1400m long chair-lift, 2 teleskis, 1 baby lift and snow tubing lift serving the ski fans.
